What is TMRL?
The Team Readiness Level describes how well your team is equipped to bring an idea to the market — in terms of roles, skills, and team dynamics.
TMRL Levels (simplified):
TMRL 1–2: Individual only, little awareness of transfer
TMRL 3–4: First collaborators, unclear roles
TMRL 5–6: Core team with tech & business expertise, clear responsibilities
TMRL 7–9: Growing team, leadership structure, external experts, clear development strategy
What makes a strong team?
Complementary skills (tech, market, IP, project management)
Commitment (time, motivation, ownership clearly defined)
Culture & values (diversity, communication, conflict resolution)
